NEMAA Relays – Jarrow

Onto the golden oldies relays at Jarrow – runners have to be over 35 to run these.

We put out 6 teams in total, 3 women and 3 men… Our women’s v45 team took home the bragging rights as they stormed to victory. Our v55 men’s team weren’t out done as they secured an impressive 2nd place on the night.

For those wanted to run relays, we have the Nationals coming up soon – see facebook for details.

Well done to all our relay runners – excellent turnout and performances!

Trail Outlaw RAF Spadeadam Half Marathon

Joe Horner was in action around the RAF base – a course that takes you past relics of the past. I believe it’s a tricky course, Joe Horner was our only runners completing the course last n 1.46.

Well done Joe!

Run Through Gateshead 10km

Run through we’re back on the quayside on Sunday, this time with the 10km, Half and Marathon distances starting and finishing at the icon Gateshead Stadium.

We have four members running today, with Luke picking up a top 5 finish and David Walton securing 2nd in his age category. It’s brilliant to see Kisi and Jayne back in action and running well.

The course has a few hills thrown in to bite you in the tail and make though quads and glutes work the the medal.

Well done all!
