- Parents & Guardians of juniors are requested to complete the form on behalf of the junior runner, but please visit the juniors page first.

- Subscriptions are made online and a payment link will be sent once your details are registered.
- If joining during the year your subs fee will be reduced.
General information:
- We will endeavour to match your ability & needs to an appropriate group.
- The main Senior squad meet every Tuesday & Thursday, in the sports hall from 7 pm. Runners leave at 7.15 pm to go running.
- The Beginners & Intermediate run group also have the same timings meeting at 7 pm but may leave between 7.15 pm & 7.30 pm.
- The Junior groups also meet for 7 pm & leave at 7.15 pm.
- Juniors aged 10 to 17 have their own dedicated group running & conditioning sessions lasting around 40 to 60 mins.
- We have a dedicated beginners group. Runs are varied and can typically be from 30 to 60 mins.
- We have a main running group. Sessions are varied and can typically be from 45 to 60 mins.
- Saturday mornings there is a mixed Juniors/Seniors track training session at Blaydon track (except where there are other events such as cross country on that the club participates in).
- On a Sunday morning senior runners often meet outside at a pre-arranged time and go for a run. Entirely informal, run at your own pace, with a partner or as a group or go it alone! Go long or short with distance…go off-road…on trails…country paths…you decide…it’s your day to enjoy!

- A great group of friendly, hard working club runners…….just like you! Promote individual entry to races, Team Relay and Track & Field competition. Participate in the hugely popular Cross Country Season here in the North East. Encourage people to take part in Local, Regional and National competition.
- Promote other aspects of sport, such as Fell & Trail Running and disciplines such as Triathlon.
- A friendly social side to the club: Presentation evenings, post race get togethers, annual parties for Juniors & Seniors.
- A well-managed media platform to communicate, highlight & promote what Elswick Harriers does as a club. A superb home and facilities here at Newburn Activity Centre.
- We also have a buddying option, which means you can request to be matched up with one of our existing members who will help you settle in & support you to achieve your individual running goals. You’ll be asked if you’d like a buddy during your initial contact with us, and if you do we’ll arrange for your buddy to meet you at your first few sessions.

I am looking to get back running after some injuries and wanted to join the beginners group if possible after the lockdown when group running is allowed again. I just wanted to see if I need to do anything now or just wait and see how things go ?

Hi i used to run for Morpeth years ago im 32 now looking to train when i can with the club is it possible to get a membership due to my shifts being different i would be able to make it once a week if that’s still ok can hou let me know cheers
