North East Harrier League – 24 September 2022
On a mixture of sunny but cool weather the first NEHL of the season took place at Wrekenton, hosted by Saltwell Harriers.
As usual it’s was a bit manic before the race handing out all the numbers, but somehow Jan and Mary got it all sorted with no hiccups.
Elswick Juniors turned out in force with fantastic team placings and individual performances. A fair few of the juniors were making their debuts. There were a few nerves on show from the athletes, and, it’s fair to say, parents and grandparents. However once racing got underway the support was fantastic.
