The penultimate harrier league at Alnwick got underway. The final NEHL of the season will be at Druridge Bay on Sunday 23rd March . Eltringham is cancelled this year.
The Elswick numbers were down due to illness and half term holidays but well done to the juniors who ran today. The weather was cool but good running conditions compared to the last week little to no mud.
The results are now confirmed for the junior awards for our Celebration Evening at St James’ Park (see Jan if you want to know where you finished) you are all winners to us and we hope to see as many of you there as possible. Make sure you get your tickets for the evening on Saturday 22nd March they are going fast. Families and Grandparents etc all welcome
If you were one of the Elswick Harrier juniors who ran at Parliament Hill you certainly got around in one week having the back drop of the London skyline during the race, then next week having the glorious back drop of Alnwick Castle and the pastures, massive extremes.
The castle has been used in recent times for filming Harry Potter films. today all the magic came from our Elswick Juniors. It’s great when Junior athletes, parents grandparents coaches and supporters all come to together to encourage each other
