Now that the cross country season is well and truly behind us, it was for many juniors the first road race of the season. With Easter holidays etc. Elswick Junior numbers were down a bit, however that takes nothing away from those who raced with excellent performances.
On a pleasing note quite a few of our older juniors have progressed and competed in the senior events – (senior report to follow).
This year the course had a slightly different start and finish. We can’t stress enough the time and effort put in to make sure these races go ahead. So make sure you thank the organisers and officials.
Fortunately the weather was favourable with dry conditions and little wind.

Under 11 boys Approx 1 mile.

A great day’s racing with lots of our juniors stepping up in older age groups for the first time.
Once again fantastic support from the coaches, parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles etc. Now for the good bit – enjoy your Easter eggs – you deserve them. Please feel free to add any photos.
