Weekly round up 17th June to 23rd June

June Club Championship Race – Internal 5km

It was great to see all groups come together for our internal 5km – we had 51 finishers all running impressive times.

Luke was the quickest on the night, Imogen Bungay was the quickest female.

Huge thanks to Tom Hansen, Steve Robinson, Mark Connelly and David Walton for helping on the night – we can’t do things like this without people stepping up to help. And Michelle Latham for the photos.

Newburn River Run

It was a busy day for Graham Bell our commander and chief race sorter outerer. The night was a huge success thanks to all the work put in by Graham and the kind volunteers (next year we could do with more members coming forward to help please, some roles you can do then run).

We had 13 runners in totals – our first home was Steve Horn who had a storming run to finish in 11th place and our first female was ever improving Joanne Forster.
