Run Northumberland Rothbury 10km
Luke Hilliard was back in action after being sidelined with injury. He certainly hasn’t lost his competitive edge as he stormed to victory over the undulating course.
Saturn Run
Jayne was in action running the 6.6miles – runners can choose from a number of distances and venues. It’s good to see Jayne back running after a bit of a layoff with injury.
Saltwell 10km
Saturday saw the running of one of oldest road races. We had 7 running in the Elswick vest, plus Amy running in her 1stclaim colours on this occasion.
It was a brilliant performance by Sophie who powered home to be first Elswick and first lady overall – Sophie has been racking up trophies this year. Brilliant run!
Amy pipped Sean to the finish line to ensure she retained the bragging rights over a a post race coffee – Amy was 3rdlady overall.
Tony and Andrea Banks were also on the podium claiming 3rd and 2nd place in their age categories.
Super running by everyone, no better way to end the year!
