Watergate Races 21st August 2025 Watergate Country Park
As usual we had a good turnout at these races, so much that we cancel junior training for the night.
On what was a warm pleasant night with many Elswick vests on show and supporters The first race was combined with under 11s and under 13s taking part although the results are separate for the age groups.The
course itself is approximately 2.5K on an undulating course with multi terrain underfoot.
The older juniors under 15s and under 17s had to take part on a 5K course with senior athletes, so quite a jump for a lot of our junior athletes.
This is a high standard race for many taking who part in the North East Masters Athletics Association this is there 5K championships.
