A canny bunch of Elswick Harrier Club Runners ALL ran to the Xmas venue (not!) this year, at the Percy Arms on Wallbottle Bank. A fine assembly of the internet’s best offerings of acrylic xmas jumpers, perfectly encapsulated around the Xmas tummy 🙂 For some, time to enjoy their favourite pub tipple, post the North East Cross Country Championships earlier in the day. Above & below are a few photos of the evening- with the main attraction quite arguably! being Simon’s mighty fine 2 – piece Armani Xmas Suit and the WINNER of the Xmas ‘Jumper’ Competition! A buffet of hot and cold food, background music ensued throughout. A full raffle draw also took place: everyone a winner. Thank you to Michelle Coleman for organising the evening on behalf of the club members, assisted by Harry and Simon during the evening.
