Warm up around Mill Vale House loop meet on the bridge > Thursday New Location New location Session: 2 x 1 min / 1 x 2 min / 1 x 2.30 mins / 1 x 2 mins / 2 x 1 mins / 2 x 30 secs. All reps on 1 min recovery (except 30 secs on 30 secs rec.).
On Sunday, the popular North Tyneside 10km road race took place. The race started at The Parks Sports Centre in North Shields before taking in the Fish Quay, River Tyne, Tynemouth Priory and a stretch of coastline before finishing at St. Mary’s Lighthouse. Taking the win in just over 33 mins, for Elswick Harriers, Tadele Geremew. Congratulations to you Tadele. Two Elswick Athletes, Paul Turner 7th overall and Mark McLeod 16th overall: Three in the first twenty. Great team running. The first female finisher was Ex-Elswick athlete Alison Dargie (now TBH) in 38.09. Elswicks first three ladies across the finish line were, Charlotte Baston, Melissa Bateson & Lalage Brown.
