MARSHAL LIST 2017 VER 2 (UPDATED AS LAST CHANGES MADE – WEDNESDAY @ 6.45PM) Roles & responsibilities will be explained at your briefing.
The club appreciates that members who have volunteered, would enjoy watching the races. However due to the 2.5 mile disconnect between HQ, car parking and race location, it is just not possible.
Make no mistake that your contribution to this event is pivotal to the safe and effective hosting of this famous & historical event. YOUR SUPPORT is greatly appreciated by the club.
May I ask that ALL car parking marshals, HQ and results compilation team only, meet promptly at Hedley’s Café at 8.15am, where the appropriate briefing, contact no.s & marshal bib will be supplied.
ALL other marshals meet promptly at Hedley’s café at 8.30am. A final briefing will be made along with the provision of contact no.s & a marshal bib.
All helpers please bring a fully charged mobile phone, a bottle of water & appropriate clothing & footwear.
It will be a very busy morning & afternoon for all the volunteers, lets ensure a good start to the day and we start the two briefings on time. Thank you 🙂

Senior Training: Tuesday: NEW MEETING TIME TRIAL: MEET IN THE SPORTS HALL FROM 7PM. SENIORS LEAVE THE HALL AT 7.15PM. Warm up & run towards One North East. Meet at the Feel Good Café. Session: 6 x 3 mins with 1 min recovery.
Senior Training Thursday: NEW MEETING TIME TRIAL: MEET IN THE SPORTS HALL FROM 7PM. SENIORS LEAVE THE HALL AT 7.15PM. Warm up around Mill Vale houses warm up and go to the “new warburtons” meeting point New location Thursday New Location . Session: 1 x 2 min / 6 x 1 min / 2 x 30 secs to finish (all reps on 1 min rec).
