On a cool sunny day at Temple Park South Shields the Northumberland Schools County XC Championships were held. Well done to all the Elswick juniors who got through the heats to qualify.

Minor Girls – 2nd Poppy Wilde- 7th Erin Blight- 8th Louisa Hamilton 15th Sydney Bungay-21st Charlotte Naughton – 22nd Ellie Flaherty 40th Lola Wood-57th Zoe Fielding-59th Jessica Robinson.
Junior Girls 2nd Poppy Old -8th Imogen Bungay 27th Lauren Stroud- 28th Sophie Henderson -29th Isla Cardno – 30th Bella Russell- 69th Katy Bullock. Inter Girls 15th Emily Allison- 17th Charley Lee. Senior Girls 3rd Hannah Tumia- 5th Suzy Fielding.
Top 16 will go on to represent the County at the Inter-counties in Cumbria at the five way meeting with Cleveland,Cumbria,Durham,Northumberland and N.Yorks.
