Our super team of under 12 athletes were in action at Chester-le-Street in the second Funetics competition of the season.
Harry Rogers was making his debut, whilst Edison Davies, Josh Hunn, Zach Hunn, Jude Hamoodi and Isla Logan were competing for the second time.
There were personal bests aplenty. Improvements were made in the standing jump and push throw. Whilst Josh Hunn did not take away the gold medal on this occasion he did improve his push throw from 5.9m to 6.6m. Zach Hunn (5.8m) and Edison Davies (4.9m) also threw PBs.
In the 600m, all four athletes achieved PBs. Edison achieved 2.06.40, Jude 20.09.50, Harry, 2.00.70 and. Isla 2.08.5.
Competitive times were also achieved in the 75m sprint; Edison 12.4, Zach 11.9, Harry 12.2, Jude 11.7 and Josh 12.3
