The last North East Harrier League (NEHL) was held at a new venue over the Tyne Valley, most said it was the toughest course of the season, with every combination deep mud in parts, steep hills, gravel paths a style and even a tunnel to content with, but it was very picturesque. The day was actually hot probably the warmest day this year, unusual for Cross Country, great for spectators however not so good for the athletes.
Now is time to hang up your cross country spikes for this season, and what a great season it has been with 57 Juniors taking part over the course of the season
We now have North East Youth Development League (NEYDL) to look forward to, when new age groups come into force.
