Using the Callerton Cycleway, from Butterwell farm, BCs (Bunny Counters) competed over 5 summer evenings. Runners first posted a base time, then attempted to improve in different weather conditions. Participants were tested with high temperature and humidity, heavy rain, mud and surface water as well as trying not to get lost in the dark. Times were compared and the “most improved” won on the day, results were accumulated into a season grand total. The total field of 40 included several new members to whom running off road was a very strange experience for some used only to road running and local Park Runs.
