Well after a few cancellations on the cross country scene, racing finally got underway again. The main reasons for cancellations have not been the course’s but parking difficulties. Thankfully no problems at Alnwick gardens with hardcore parking.
Just as well as the rain continued on and off during the course of the day.
A lot of people think this is the most scenic course of the cross country season who can blame them with the back drop of Alnwick Castle.
The castle has been used in recent times for filming Harry Potter films. today all the magic came from Elswick Juniors. It’s great when Junior athletes, parents grandparents coaches and supporters all come to together to encourage each other.
