What a fantastic season for Elswick juniors,the last track and field took place in very windy conditions.This made it difficult for personal bests on the day.
Once again we teamed up with our friends from South Shields.
As we all know we are now in the first division after promotion last year. It’s fair to say it was quite a jump competing against the top clubs from the North East and North Yorkshire, all with track and field facilities.
However this did not stop our juniors putting their hard training to good use and putting on their Elswick vests. A lot were stepping outside their comfort zones trying different events.
A big thank you to Andrea and Simon for putting on Saturday morning sessions to try out other disciplines.
Also an extra big thank you to all the hard work done by Andrea organiser extraordinaire.
We finished 5th team on the day and 5th team over the course of the four meetings.
