April 7th 2023, Ouston Airfield (Albemarle Barracks)
It has been a long wait to get the our Good Friday races back on track what with covid and a lack of venues.
Thanks to the hard work of the Elswick organising committee it’s looks as if they have come up with an excellent venue. Albermarle Barracks is to the west of Newcastle and is a disused airfield. The course was flat and fast, distances for under 11s around a mile and for the overs 1.5 mile.
On a sunny but chilly morning Elswick Juniors had an early start with first race being at 9.15.

13th Millie Robson 9.48 – 23rd Zara Bungay 10.38 – 24th Charlotte Taylor 10.49 – 30th Ella Slater 11.09 – 31st Ava Stephenson 11.18 – 33rd Ellie Spoor 11.45.

10th Aiden Jones 8.26 – 12th Liam Coulson 8.38

5th Poppy Wilde 9.01 – 12th Hannah Waterhouse 10.00 – 18th Ciara Telford 12.09 – 19th Sydney Bungay 12.09
It was great to see some of our juniors stepping up to do the senior relays.
