(Apologies from GB on posting this event late). Report by Les Williamson: 28 members of the three Bunny training groups combined for the first round of out winter 20 series. Several are in training for winter night events such as the Kielder Dark Skies and No Ego on the Lambton Estate.
The course, including the Percy Pit heap simulated some of the perils encountered running with a head torch. A daunting experience for some. The winner of this round was Giacomo Pieri who improved on his summer daylight time by 90 seconds. Sadly no one upheld our ancient tradition of getting lost or falling over……. “Boldly going…..” Percy Pit heap “There’s a great view from the top”
