Folks congregated in the Keelman where Jim took names for the run. The pub was packed! The merry tension, night on palpable! As the draw took place: ooohs & aaahs reverberated around the bar!
Off to the playing field where turkey laden fuel filled runners were readied for the 8 x 400m run out.
(More photos to follow)……….The weather was perfect, cool and still conditions: underfoot firm to good! Runners running like the clappers, folks cheering on, Jonny “nikon” Lowes snapping action shots! Before we knew it we had the winners through! Andy & Craig. Well done! Once all 15 pairs were across the finish line, it was back to the Keelman for food, cheer , Frank’s Quiz and prizes for all! Thank you to Michelle, Marty 🙂 Frank, Harry, Ken & Jan, Jonny, John, Stevie and Mark for their help in making the 2019 parlaufs a hit!
