Start Fitness North East Harrier League 27th September 2025 Thornley Hall Farm.

Report By Jan&Ken

Here we go again cross country season and what a marvellous start for our juniors.

As usual the can be first race can be quite manic organising the numbers across the age groups with Jan out of action due to her a fracture in her in her shoulder, supersub Mary stepped up to the plate and what a marvellous job she did.

This course is a bit like marmite people seem to love it or hate it. The weather was good no rain a nice Autumn day, no mud today thankfully.

This something Helen O’Neil posted last on junior Facebook and it is so true and inspiring. We know at least two of our athletes took tumbles but carried on regardless.
