Save The Date (Saturday 10th July)

10am prompt Saturday 10th July @ Blaydon Track

2016 Olympian and the North East’s very own Aly Dixon has kindly offered her services to our club which will consist of a practical session/talk based on track running. This is to offer advice and support for when we line up on a track.

Aly was quick to notice from the FB post regarding our internal club championship 10k race on the Blaydon track, that GPS and lap count failed a few of us. Aly has an extensive knowledge and experience of running on the track and road over varying distances developed over her long career in athletics.

She would like to share with us her tips and advice about running on the track and how to achieve your optimum pace without the need to rely upon GPS.

We hope that you can join us for the session which will be 6x3mins. There will be time for a warm-up within the session however please come ready to run. You are more than welcome to attend the session to listen in and not to run.

Due to hiring the track the club are asking attendees to help support this charge by contributing a small fee of £3 which can be paid by clicking the linking below.
