Following an internal club 10k race on the Blaydon track Aly noticed that GPS and lap count failed a few of us
Aly offered to pop along to club to give a talk/practical session which contained much needed advice and suggestions from her experience at being a professional athlete![]()
Listening to someone that has extensive knowledge gained from her experiences of running on the track & road over varying distances was very insightful & motivating
Aly shared with us about running on track and how best to go about this without the need to rely upon GPS![]()
During the session runners had an opportunity to put into practice the advice Aly offered by running 6x3mins (vo2 max) which provided much needed confidence
I’m sure when it comes to racing or training on a track we will all be in a better place when it comes to pacing/timing![]()
You cannot beat learning from a our own world class North East athlete![]()
