North East Harrier League – 29th October 2022
In what was the 3rd event of the NEHL the conditions were rainy but mild with a very challenging course, muddy in places, and to add to that mix, parts of the course had hardcore underfoot and a killer hill.
The races took place in the scenic grounds of Lambton Castle. Once upon a time it was a lion park but this ceased in 1980, the only lions we could see were our juniors, who had hearts the size of a lion’s representing Elswick Harriers.
Many thanks to Laura and her helpers for bringing the tent and erecting it. Once again many thanks to the organisers and officials who stand out all day in all weathers for putting these events on.
Next NEHL is 29th November Aykley Heads, Durham.
