Former Elswick Harrier Simon Lynch has recently formed Newburn Running Club (NRC). This is a new venture for Simon. NRC is an entirely separate organisation from that of Elswick Harriers.
A number of Elswick Running Leaders (LIRF’s) and Bunny runners have left our club and joined Simon at NRC. The club would like to formally thank Simon and his team of run leaders and wish them all well in their future endeavours.
More importantly, this affords our running club, a timely opportunity to establish a new member-inclusive, training and social running structure. The club will engage with members on necessary changes over the coming days and weeks.
All that the club asks for is that members give their support and commitment to ensure the positive changes succeed. Together we are stronger. Kind regards, the club committee officers.
