Alnwick Castle 10k Trail Run hosted by Wild Deer Events

The start and finish are outside the Castle by the River Aln and the 10k takes in a fabulous lap around Hulne Park, the private estate of the Duke of Northumberland.

Dave mentioned it was a very hilly first half, faster 2nd half however the surroundings were beautiful as you ran around the castle grounds. He was pleased to dip under the hour mark in which he was rewarded with a free can of Red Stripe to transport him back to the 80s.

Northumberland County Show EGGER Woodland 5k Hosted by Run Nation @ Bywell

Excellent work from Jeffrey claiming 1^st v70 male in the 5k whilst Luke picked up more Run Nation vouchers as he continues to impress after a strong run in the 10k finishing 1st by 51s. Brilliant to see Sarah also taking on this 10k which included a big hill up to the top of valley (388ft elevation gain), what goes up does come down through woodland and mud.
