Description

  • When: SUNDAY 2nd NOVEMBER 2025, GOSFORTH HIGH PARK. NE3 5HP. Fee £20 per team. Last day for online entry is Thursday 30th  October at Noon.
  • Subject to the entry limit not being reached late entries will be accepted.

Pre event information:

  • Event HQ: Registration inside the Border Minstrel Pub. Open from 8.30am. Follow directions for free parking opposite the pub.
  • Limited toilet availability at the pub. You have been politely informed!
  • Collect bib & chip packs from the registration desk.
  • Ensure medical & contact information on the reverse of your bib number is completed.
  • Rules: Three athletes per team. Teams must have a minimum of one female athlete in their team. Categories: Seniors (16 to 39). V40 (40 to 49). V50 (50 to 59). V60 & over.
  • Athletes can only run one leg. Senior athletes must run in a senior team.
  • A vet athlete may go down an age group category. A vet athlete may run in a senior team. Mixed age group teams are permitted but these teams MUST be declared as a Senior Team.
  • Day event information:

 

  • START TIME IS 9.45 am. It is a 10 min walk to the start.
  • A First Aid post will be stationed at the start / finish line area.
  • Warm up area is a specified section of tarmac path that the race takes place on.
  • Athletes run a 1.66-mile clockwise lap of the tarmac path.
  • Do not enter the following areas: Race course track, golf course fringes, including:
  • Out of bounds & fairway areas. Any person doing so will be told to leave the venue.
  • In addition your team may be disqualified.
  • GOLFERS WILL BE ON THE GOLF COURSE. In the interest of safety, marshals will be visibly present. Act accordingly to any instruction given.
  • Awards are entirely at the discretion of Elswick Harriers.
  • Awards will take place after the race in the pub. Join us for an early pint!
  • Elswick Harriers have the right to amend the race and rules as it sees fit.
  • Elswick Harriers accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage to competitors property.
